DNA storage device, Great prospects are coming in future

The data can be stored in DNA and restored later. Researchers are thinking of bringing the market to DNA data storage after the success of the laboratory. Microsoft is working with the University of Washington researchers to create DNA data storage, the world's largest software maker Microsoft. This is called the first full automatic or automated DNA data storage.
This study article was published in the journal Nature Scientific Reports. It is said that the researchers put the message 'Hello' in DNA and returned it as a digital data within 21 hours.

A report in the Indo Asian News Service says that researchers have created a device that can keep  data and digital data in DNA and it can also be retrieved from DNA. In other words, images, videos or messages will be kept in DNA as digital information. Microsoft's blog post also mentions the success of data recovery in the form of bits. Microsoft is now thinking of implementing this technology at the commercial data center.

Microsoft's researcher Curin Strauss said, "Our goal is to create a system that allows users to keep information as common cloud storage services. It will send bits to the data center, which will remain stored in DNA. If  the customer want, the information will retrieve  again. It has to prove whether it is applicable to automation. In this method, one GB data can be stored in DNA, which includes cats photo, literature, pop videos and various archival recordings. Later, DNA was recovered without any problem.
Special software is used in this method, which can convert 'One' and 'Zero' digital data to 'AS', 'TS', 'CS' and 'GS', known as DNA's Building Block. It is then preserved in the required liquid flow and chemical system using the cost effective equipment. When the information is needed to be retrieved, then DNA is prepared by mixing another type of chemical. Converts DNA data into the computer and enhances it.
In this method, DNA of humans or living organisms has not been used. Researchers used synthetic DNA made in laboratory. In this process, data encryption can be done. It also has the facility to search for specific information.

Louis Sis, a Washington University researcher, said, "The new computer system is born, so that information can be stored using molecules and it can be processed and controlled in electronic mode. In this case, great prospects are coming in the future.
